Gymtimidation: What is it?

There are many reasons why someone would shy away from physical activity. Many people find it difficult to enter the gym at all because of anxiety/nervousness. I used to be one of those people. Seeing other students who clearly know what they are doing and comparing them to myself who didn’t know where to even get started made me feel like fitness maybe wasn’t for everyone. Precor proposes many solutions to this that students can do on their own to assuage these anxieties: focusing solely on your workout, choosing to exercise during empty hours, and even just working out at home. Each of these methods may make a student feel more comfortable, but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to have the confidence and preparedness to go into the gym whenever and reach your goals?
